The walk starts from the Ex Stabilimento Florio to reach the summit of Monte Santa Caterina - 316 m. -The road is drivable to the channel "du Zù Carmelo" where you cross the path to the "Chiano Sterna", a large panoramic plateau, continue along a path towards the castle stopping at another vantage point on the west side of the island. 
Along the way you can admire the flora of the island, from the highest point of the hill you can enjoy an enchanting view at sunset.
