Cala Tramontana
Cala Tramontana lies on the northern stretch of coastline. It is the largest bay on the island, nestled between high reddish rock walls and immersed in unspoilt wilderness, rich in vegetation. It is characterised by numerous caves, ideal for snorkelling and diving enthusiasts. Its waters are azure blue and crystal clear.
When one arrives from the sea, Cala Tramontana appears as a large amphitheatre with high, steep cliffs on the sides and a wide limestone chute in the centre that continues to below the surface of the water. The environment is remarkably wild.
It can be reached on foot via a beaten path that crosses the entire length of the island, or more comfortably by boat.
