Path 3: Village - Punta Libeccio
Leaving the village behind, we continue southwards on the path past the Forestry Forestry reforestation to Carcaredda, where there is a small refuge. Here, after a few ups and downs, the path turns west and becomes wide and comfortable, with steep climbs.
It is tiring in places and certainly to be avoided in the hottest hours. Halfway along, there is an 'iardineddu', the remains of a small garden, now overgrown with euphorbias. Continuing towards the lighthouse, you come to a disused quarry on the right, while on the left you descend to the sea, where it is possible to bathe and stop on a small concrete quay.
Typical vegetation: Mediterranean scrub with a prevalence of mastic trees, Senecio cinerario, Cisto incanus, helichrysum, lonicera, Aleppo pine, Erica arborea, Euphorbia dendroides.
