Path 5: Sicchitella - Faraglione

The path starts at the Punta Sottile lighthouse and heads to the right, amidst appreciable sea views, towards the Faraglione, where you arrive after about an hour's good walking.
Along the flat route you will come across flat rocks where you can stop to sunbathe and beautiful coves excellent for taking a dip (Cala Pozzo). The panorama is dominated by the island of Levanzo. 
Before the Faraglione, on the right at the top, are the 'Uccerie' caves, the underground one, with stalactite formations inside, is not easily accessible.
The path, in this last, rather uneven section, reaches above Cala Faraglione (Cala Trapanese).
Further on, one arrives in the vicinity of the 'lovers' cave', which can be visited from the sea, after which it is not recommended to continue due to sections of friable rock.
