Scalo San Giuseppe

The Scalo San Giuseppe, locally known as 'U Scaru S. Giuseppe', is characterised by striking, square natural pools that wind along the coastline. These are actually among the oldest tufa quarries on the island, dating back to remote periods, sunk by bradyseism phenomena over the centuries.
