Cala Faraglione
The Faraglione beach is certainly among the most beautiful and famous on the island. Reaching it is very easy. From the village you have to take the scenic road that runs along the sea. In a few minutes you will arrive at your destination. The beach takes its name from the Faraglione that lies in front of the small pebble beach.
Going down into the water with a mask and flippers is obligatory to discover the beauty of the seabed.
Fragments of Posidonia alternating with spikes, cusps, slabs, small suspended arches and through holes generate seabeds with a varied morphology. A wonder that leaves you amazed as the spectacle is always varied between fish of various colours including Salpa, Saraghi, Parrotfish or the very black Castagnole and even tiny Shrimps.
For the more daring, moving away from the coast it will not be difficult, diving deep, to discover grouper.
